Trey Winthrop is the Chief Executive Officer of Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods, Inc. He and his fellow employee owners inspire joy with wholesome foods for consumers and customers worldwide.
As the Company’s former Chief Financial Officer, Trey led Bob’s Red Mill through multiple financial transactions to become 100 percent employee owned in 2020. With nearly 20 years’ experience working beside Founders Bob and Charlee Moore, Trey is committed to ensuring the Company’s continuity through sustained growth in the Consumer Packaged Goods space.
He has a deep respect for the Company’s employee owners whose individual contributions create the shared reward of a more secure financial future. Trey values that employee-owned businesses not only strengthen the fabric of the U.S. economy, but they also benefit the local communities where employee owners live, work and play.
Trey joined the company in 2005 and has been a member of the Bob’s Red Mill Board of Directors since 2016. He was a business leader on President Obama’s panel advocating for the reauthorization of the Import-Export Bank Charter. Trey is a member of the Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is a Director for the Oregon Business Council. He currently serves on the Oregon State University Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
