Aldo is the Co-Founder and CEO of ViVum AI, a pioneering Evolutionary AI company that delivers legitimate autonomous capabilities to embodied systems like autonomous vehicles and robotics. Inspired by the efficiency and resilience of biological systems, ViVum’s advanced computing platform leverages Evolutionary AI techniques to deploy dynamic neural models like liquid time-constant networks and CTRNNs, processing information in adaptive, explainable ways. ViVum’s architecture-agnostic coprocessors, both physical and virtual, efficiently handle diverse tasks, dramatically reducing energy consumption and computational challenges for complex AI inferencing on edge devices. The company is committed to establish and propagate a computing paradigm that benefits not just humanity but all life on our planet. Earth demands it.
Before ViVum, Aldo co-founded InterVenn Biosciences in 2016 with Nobel Laureate Dr. Carolyn Bertozzi and Dr. Carlito Lebrilla. InterVenn’s work in glycoproteomics has revolutionized early disease detection using liquid biopsies, especially in cancer, autoimmune, neurodegenerative, infectious, and reproductive diseases. Their technologies led to groundbreaking diagnostics and treatments like Dawn™ for Immunotherapy, Glori™ for Ovarian Cancer, and GlycoKnow™ for Colorectal Cancer. Aldo’s entrepreneurial success also includes founding Veem (2013), a global cross-border payment processor, and Jukin Media (2009), a prominent user-generated content licensing company, collectively generating over $1 billion in value for investors.
Alongside his ventures, Aldo is an active angel investor with academic credentials, including an MBA from Babson College and a BS from Ateneo De Manila University.
