Ray Burney Jr started RLA Engineering in October 2010 leveraging his extensive experience in engineering and management.  He provides strategic leadership to ensure RLA not only meets, but exceeds the expectations of its clients in a challenging and changing business environment.  Ray excels in assembling teams that connect with customers, provide solutions and achieve results.  Prior to starting RLA, Ray lead teams in R&D, Operations and Manufacturing at Hewlett-Packard and Rockwell Automation.  He guided global engineering teams in the production of consumer product technologies, using his vast experience in analog and digital technologies, power systems, sensor systems and motion controls.  Ray received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University, and an MBA from Washington State University.  A veteran and officer of the US Army and Army National Guard, Ray is also a graduate of the Wisconsin Military Academy.   Ray is married and has 4 adult children.  he enjoys traveling, riding his motorcycle, playing golf and tennis.
