President and Chief Executive Officer, BCforward

Justin P. Christian is an accomplished businessman, civic leader, and philanthropist, who has made a significant impact in the IT consulting industry. Born in New York City, Justin attended DePauw University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. After graduation, Justin worked as a Systems Analyst at Eli  Lilly & Company before founding BCforward in 1998.  With a vision to fuel industry growth in the Midwest, Justin started BCforward as a boutique IT services firm with only two employees. Justin's leadership over the past 25 years has propelled BCforward to the best-in-class IT consultancy and global workforce solutions leader it is today, providing a full suite of customer-centric solutions spanning Application Lifecycle Management, Project Management, Quality, Business Intelligence, and Advisory Services with 5,000+ employees and delivery centers spanning  North America and India. In addition to his work at BCforward, Justin is an integral part of the DePauw University community. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and in 2017, the Justin and Darrianne Christian Center for Diversity and Inclusion was dedicated and officially opened on the DePauw campus, a testament to his commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion. Justin is also deeply committed to civic engagement and philanthropy. He has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, Goodwill of Central Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission, and the Indianapolis Bond Bank. Justin is also a past chairman of the Indianapolis 500 Festival Board of Directors. He is currently a member of the Business Equity for Indianapolis Task Force, which is focused on promoting economic growth and opportunity for minority-owned businesses in the region, and a board member of the Lumina Foundation, an independent and private foundation in Indianapolis that is committed to making opportunities for learning beyond high school available to all, the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, which brings together the chief executives of Central Indiana’s prominent corporations, foundations, and universities in a strategic and collaborative effort dedicated to the region’s continued prosperity and growth. Throughout his career, Justin has received numerous awards and recognition for his contributions to the IT consulting industry, philanthropic efforts, and civic engagement. In 2017, Justin was inducted into the Junior Achievement Indiana Business Hall of Fame. In 2020, he was named the North American Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young, and in 2021, he received the Trailblazer Award from TechPoint, a nonprofit organization that supports and promotes the growth of the technology sector in Indiana. In 2022, he was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s inaugural Indiana 250 list of influential leaders. In 2023, Justin was named Man of the Year by the Center for Leadership Development, a nonprofit organization that provides African American youth with the skills and experiences necessary to become successful leaders. Justin's leadership, vision, and commitment to diversity, philanthropy, and civic engagement have made a significant impact on the IT consulting industry and the community. As a role model and inspiring leader, he has demonstrated that with hard work, determination, and a focus on core values, it is possible to achieve success and make a positive impact in the world.
