Ramón Mendiola has extensive experience leading companies in the food and beverages market in America.  He started his career at Phillip Morris International in 1992 where his last position was Vice President for Central America and the Caribbean. Between 1998 and 2002, he was Kraft Foods International Vice President for Central America and the Caribbean in 2003, he took over his current position as CEO of Florida Ice & Farm Company, a Costa Rican public company with revenues of US$1.3 billion and more than 6,500 employees across Central America and the United States.  FIFCO is a total beverage company with more than 1,700 products and exports to 23 countries.

Ramón Mendiola has a business administration degree from Babson College (Class of 1986) and he has a Master in Business Administration with an emphasis on international business marketing and strategy degree from J.L. Kellogg at Northwestern University (Class of 1992). 

Ramón is a member of the Board of Trustees of Babson University and the President of the Latin American Brewers Association.  In addition, he has been invited as keynote speaker in multiple academic and corporate events in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the United States
