Charity Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament

By now, there isn’t anyone who's not aware of Hurricane Harvey's devastation. Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of those affected.

While we are glad to hear that the members of our newly formed Conscious Capitalism Houston Chapter are all safe, we know there are so many who did not fare as well...and that the damage done across greater Southeastern Texas has put a long road to recovery in front of them.

A significant portion of the recovery effort will depend greatly upon the decisions made by businesses, both locally and from outside the affected area. It is in times of crisis like these when we are presented with opportunities to promote the virtues of consciousness.

To aid the people of Houston toward healing and rebuilding, Conscious Capitalism, Inc. will host a Charity Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament the night before our upcoming CEO Summit in Austin. Proceeds will fund a micro-grant program run by CCI to support rebuilding businesses in Houston. Winner will receive full bragging rights as the "CEO Summit Texas Hold ‘Em Champ" for one year!


WHEN: 

Monday, October 9th, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.

 

WHERE: 

Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Austin - The tournament will take place at the same time as our previously scheduled reception, which will also be happening nearby and simultaneously.

 

HOW MUCH: 

$200 buy-in with all funds raised donated to rebuilding Houston businesses
