Benefit Poker Tournament (registration required)

Arriving to the Lost Pines on Monday? Sidle up to your fellow Conscious Capitalists for a ‘competitive as you wish’ Texas Hold ‘Em tournament. Whether you’re new to poker or feel like a pro, you’ll have a great time slinging cards with friends new and old. All proceeds for this tournament go to the Texas Black Expo who will continue to use the funds to provide grants in the Houston community to support small businesses impacted by Hurricane Harvey. (Additional fee event)

For those not playing poker, enjoy our lounge and bar located adjacent to the tournament, on Pecan Terrace.

Catalyzing Diversity & Inclusion: A CCI Global Forum for Women Leaders (registration required)

Conscious Capitalism, Inc.’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Initiative (GDII) will host this pre-conference forum for Women Leaders to gather in an intimate setting to learn, collaborate and strategize on how to leverage Diversity & Inclusion to drive better business results. Participants will hear about the Initiative from the GDII leaders, participate in a discussion on the topic of elevating and supporting women in business, collaborate and share best practices for creating cultures where diversity can be leveraged as a competitive advantage. A call to action and an invitation to become a public champion for diversity and inclusion will be extended to all participants in the spirit of expanding, increasing and winning – through diverse representation in the industry.

Please note the Whole Foods Market Flagship Store visit and Diversity and Inclusion Forum run concurrently. Those participating in the Whole Foods Market Flagship Store visit should be able to arrive back to the hotel just in time to attend the Essentials of Conscious Capitalism presentation (or shortly thereafter). Sign up for golf is on your own.
Lounge and property overview:
Starting Monday afternoon, our outdoor lounge area in Pecan Terrace will be open and available for planned or unplanned meetings. We’ll also provide coffee and some light snacks throughout Tuesday morning. The Lost Pines is a beautiful property, so feel free to enjoy the pool area and lawns or take an exploratory stroll.
